mEET THE TAYLORS…

True Romance is a movie about what happens when a nerd who has always believed in epic love stories, kung-fu movies, and comic books meets a woman way out of his league, with fantastic tits, who wants to go on slutty and nerdy adventures with him.

They fall in love, do their dirt, make their stacks, and run off to Cancun to get married and raise their kid that so happens to be named after a rockstar. Along the way they collect a suitcase, go on the run in a purple caddy, with a leopard spotted interior, and end up going to Michigan to visit Christian Slaters father.

TRUE ROMANCE

the Story of Petra and Phoenix

Along the way, The main character, Clarence doesn’t let anything get in the way of becoming whatever he is supposed to become to roll the dice on his shot at this chance of paradise. And as Alabama watches her man transform into the King the situation requires she keeps repeating in her head “you’re so cool… you’re so cool… “you’re so cool”.

Phoenix must have connected to this movie on a much deeper level than he knew. Because he is living his very own TRUE ROMANCE journey with his partner Petra Banx.

Who just so happens to have an entire brand built on purple… while Phoenix leans towards the leopard print, they often drive to Michigan to visit his father, they ran away to Cancun to get married, and they named their daughter off of the legendary rockstar Roxette.

The two together binge watch Daredevil, travel the country, do their dirt, with a smile and an appetite for the pleasures of a life lived this raw. Living and writing their own love story. Capturing it in 4k. It’s a good life. It’s sexy as hell.

Petra is running her GODX-EMPIRE with her domme and fetish/fashion work. She helps curate 3XTRA SAUC3 magazine with Phoenix. Who is an author, writer, photographer, professional chaos manufacturer, and the kind of man that accidentally turns every dinner conversation into a three hour discussion about movies, music, philosophy, sex, politics, mythology, and why physical media still matters.

Together they somehow built a relationship that feels equal parts outlaw romance, punk rock fairytale, and small business war story.

One minute they’re location scouting for a shoot in the middle of nowhere Texas. The next they’re arguing over horror movies, editing photos at 2AM, planning magazine layouts, writing lyrics, packing for another flight, building a dungeon set, or driving through the night surviving off caffeine, nicotine, fast food, and delusion.

And honestly?

They wouldn’t have it any other way.

Because the thing most people misunderstand about couples like this is that none of it works without friendship.

Real friendship.

The kind where silence is comfortable.
The kind where both people can completely be themselves without sanding the edges off for the other person.
The kind where weirdness isn’t tolerated — it’s celebrated.

Phoenix never needed a woman that made him “normal.”
Petra never needed a man she could control.

What they built instead was a world where both of them could become MORE of who they already were.

More creative.
More fearless.
More unapologetic.
More alive.

And somewhere between the latex, cameras, tattoos, music, airports, conventions, magazines, late night talks, Michigan winters, Cancun sunsets, dive bars, editing sessions, glam shots, chaos, and laughter… they accidentally built the kind of romance people spend their whole lives looking for.

The kind most people are honestly too scared to chase.

Not because it’s perfect.

But because it’s real.

And real love?

Real love usually looks a little dangerous from the outside.
